Community Worshippers: SEKERE NITE WITH V.O.S

The Ogudu witnessed another great moments of worship as Voice of Saints (V.O.S) presents Sekere night. V.O.S led by brother BEN.

The name voice of the Saint International Gospel Singers was first mentioned through the revelation of the Holy Spirit to the Convener Benjamin Okon in 1996. Ever since, he has been praying and asking God to confirm his word at the appointed time. On July 8th 2004 what started like a mere discussion lead to the assemblage and formation of the now known (VOS) Voice of the Saint.

The group, which started with just three pioneering members Benjamin Okom, Nwalaka John and Elizabeth Okolo (Mrs.). V.O.S made her first formal rendition during a Sunday worship service at RCCG a Upper Room Assembly Auditorium in July 2004. But to the glory of God today, membership of the group stands presently eight (8) (3 male and 5 female).

As the name implies, V.O.S is a gospel music group with a mission of using Gospel songs to heal, deliver and win souls for the Lord Jesus Christ, God confirming His mandate for the group with abounding testimonies. Through the help of God we have organized great programmes, the most resent being Sekere night. To the glory God the second edition of Sekere night of praise shall be coming up by November, 29th 2013. We hope to make it a yearly event. The vision is to use this medium in other to bring members of all denomination of the body of Christ together in one voice with our Sekere (a local groub with beads tangled all around its glossary body) together with 120 Choristers. The mass choir coming from all different churches in Lagos.

There has being many challenges, yet we see a better tomorrow and a promising future. Over 8 years, VOS had being in apparition but today we now see the big picture coming. We bless God.
